Kate Capshaw

[1] She is best known as Kate Capshaw, an American actress who has since retired. Her part in the role of Willie Scott (an American nightclub singer and performer) in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), that was produced by her later husband Steven Spielberg, is her most well-known. She was in Dreamscape (1984), Power(1986), SpaceCamp(1986), Black Rain (1989), Love Affair (94), Just Cause (1995) and The Love Letter (1999). Capshaw's portraiture work was shown at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery Capshaw was the daughter of Beverley Sue (nee Simon), who is a travel and beauty agent, and Edwin Leon Nail (an airline employee of the airline). When she was of five she relocated to St. Louis and graduated from Hazelwood Senior High School. Capshaw graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in education. Additionally, she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi. She was a Special Education teacher at Southern Boone High School Ashland, Missouri and Rock Bridge High School Columbia, Missouri.
