Lisa Edelstein (born Lisa Edelstein) is an American actress best recognized for her role as House in the Fox the medical thriller House. As a child of very strict Jewish childhood she moved from Wayne in the state of Wayne to New York City when she was 18 to attend Tisch School of Arts. However, very quickly, she became engaged in the city's nightclub scene, and was able to make enough headlines that she was recognized by the media, concurrently, becoming aware of the devastating effect of AIDS. She then merged her talents and fame her writing skills and composition abilities to create a show called Positive Me. Shortly thereafter she landed a job at MTV and was the host of Awake to the Wild Side. When Awake on the Wild Side stopped being aired, she began acting in films and television, first with short parts. In time, her experience as an actor increased.
