Meagan Monique Good was born on August 8 1981 in the Panorama City neighborhood of Los Angeles to Tyra Wardlow-Doyle her mother who managed her in her teens. Her dad Leondis Leon Good is an LAPD police officer. She grew up with her three siblings at home in Canyon Country in California and started her acting career when she was just four years old. She appeared as an extra to TV shows like Doogie Howser Amen & M.D. in the beginning of her career. At the age of thirteen, her debut role in a movie Friday occurred. In 1997 she gained attention for her character in Eve's Bayou as Cisely Batiste, a troubled teenage girl. The film earned her the debut N.A.A.C.P. nomination for this film. Image Award nominated. Good took on small TV and film roles over the next couple of years and began transitioning into more mature roles in the early 2000s. On Nickelodeon's Cousin Sceeter show, she portrayed Nina. The year 2003 saw her played Vanessa Scott in My Wife and Kids. In 2004 she appeared in D.E.B.S an action comedy film which earned her nominations as Best Actress on the Black Movie Awards in 2005.
