Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16-year old American who was born in Miami Florida. She is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist, is Anya Taylor-Joy. Her father was an Argentine and has Scottish and English ancestry. Her mother is of Spanish and English ancestry. Taylor-Joy was born into a family with six kids. Four are her siblings from the previous marriage to Taylor's father. They lived in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy aged 6 and then moved to Victoria district of London. Taylor-Joy says that moving to London was traumatic and that she didn't learn English in order to prevent returning to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she was required to attend after she left Northlands. Then she attended Queen's Gate School where she studied ballet and acted in school plays. When she reached the age of 16years old, Taylor-Joy left the school to concentrate on her acting career. Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to work as an actor. Her dream was granted a opportunity by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management and was offered a job as a model.
