Fawn McKay Brodie was born in Ogden Utah on September 15 1915. Fawn MacKay, who was a member of the Mormon Church's founding family, applied her brilliant writing skills as well as her impressive research skills in order to produce the psycho-historical biographies about Joseph Smith. The book The book,"No Man is a Master of My History was published in 1945. This title was inspired by an 1844 funeral sermon preached by Joseph Smith, the Church of Latter-Day Saints' founder.
